Objectives of the study courses Management Natural Ressources
The objectives are to communicate theories, methods, applications and problems of the geoscientific and agricultural media water, soil and plant in an interdisciplinary sight.
It is an integrative study course of geoscience and agriculture in which basic questions of the compartments water, soil and plant are discussed in an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary way.
As in most universitary study courses also the education in independent scientific work, scientifically based reasoning, critical surveyance of scientific findings and responsible work in professional and public settings are focused. For this the acquaintance of competences is necessary that are precondition for objective oriented and successfull work in the career. In the foreground are the analysis of process networks and connections and the ability for an integrated thinking.
Additionally soft skills are trtained, e.g. teamwork, problem oriented thinking and work. This helps to finish the study course successfully in a practice and science oriented way. Single modules and/or the M.Sc. thesis can be regionally bound or on an international level.
